Nursery

A nursery is maintained in the arboretum for raising different kind plants. The main objective of nursery is to raise the seedlings of rare, threatened and endemic plants of Western Ghats and distribute them to publics, NGO’s, farmers and schools. The other types of plants raised in the nursery are important medicinal plants ofWestern Ghats and other regions. Different kinds of flowering plants and foliage plants are also raised in the nursery for display and sale.
