A modern greenhouse (Polyhouse) has constructed in the arboretum for maintaining rare herbs, medicinal plants, ferns, seedlings of endemic plants of Western Ghats. A total of 67 species of medicinal value collected from Western Ghats are being maintained separately in the greenhose. This includes both arborescent and herbaceous species. A total of 17 ferns collected from the Western Ghats are being maintained in the greenhouse.
